Presentation to CJR's Administration

January 25, 2023 marked an unprecedented event in Commodore's SGA history! Administration approved all of this year's proposals made by the SGA. Our representatives cam prepared to discuss a series of issues that they have identified throughout the school building and community. After leading a few community meetings with our parents at our monthly Coffee @ Commodore event, grade level meetings with students, and surveying with teachers; The SGA was able to identify multiple school concerns by the community. Commodore parents of younger children would like to see more programs and activities geared towards them, so they have the same learning opportunities as the older children. Commodore students would like more SGA led events and dress down days. Commodore teachers would like to see improvement in overall school culture, with students taking more accountability for poor actions.

SGA representatives have shared these concerns with administrators at Commodore and are looking to improve the school community by finding a happy medium. Below you will find the SGA's presentation on events and policies they wish to push for the 2022- 2023 school year.
